Biography

Professor Adee has varied interests in the hydrodynamics of floating objects. These include ships and moored structures responding to incident waves, and resistance and waves generated by ships as they move through water.

Research has been aimed at developing a computational model to predict the behavior and effectiveness of floating breakwaters. This model has been widely used in the design of new marina facilities.
