Biography

Professor Chung is interested in MEMS/Nanotechnology area, and in particular of the fabrication of micro/nano structures. Examples of the research area are electric field guided nanowire assembly, reactive ion etching assisted nanopore fabrication, and nanoscale gap fabrication. Professor Chung is also interested in the applications of such micro/nano structures. The applications include bio/chemical sensors using carbon nanotubes and nanowire-based physical sensors & actuators.
