Biography

Professor Kosály is involved in the application of stochastic processes in engineering, more specifically with the theory and simulation of turbulent reacting flows.

Research includes
Theoretical and numerical investigation of mixing and reaction in turbulent flows; modeling of turbulent combustion processes.

Prior Research
Prior research has investigated neutron transport theory, theory of slow neutron scattering, dynamics of molecular crystals, metal physics, nuclear reactor kinetics, neutron fluctuations in nuclear power plants, and boiling water reactor thermal hydraulics.
