Emery at NSF

Emery has been named to a one-year term as Program Director, Thermal
Transport and Thermal Processing Division, at the National Science Foundation
in Arlington, Virginia. In this post he is responsible for administering
research grants and workshops for the Thermal Transport and Thermal Processing
program of the Chemical and Transport Division.
"This is an opportunity to significantly affect the research programs and the future direction of research in my area of expertise," Professor Emery said. "I am fortunate to have been selected for this position." In addition to the professional aspects of this job, Emery looks forward to visiting the East Coast's many historical sites. Professor Emery will live in the Washington, D.C., area but will commute to Seattle frequently in order to keep in touch with his graduate students. |
