Biography
Dr. Ledoux received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999 and he has been at the RR&D Center of Excellence in Seattle since that year.Dr. Ledoux's research interests have concentrated on exploring the relationship between foot structure and foot function. He has worked to quantify structural and functional differences between different foot types (flat feet, neutral aligned and high arched). He has also conducted mechanical tests on cadaveric feet, at the both the system and tissue level. Dr. Ledoux has been involved in the development of a finite element model of the human foot and has explored the epidemiology of foot type and ulceration.
