Integrated Learning Factory

The Learning Factory was created under grant from the National Science Foundation under the Technology Reinvestment Program and is one of three Learning Factories nationwide originated by the Manufacturing Engineering Education Partnership (MEEP). UW's Learning Factory is now a semi-independent lab run jointly by the Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering departments, with additional funding from the College of Engineering. The Learning Factory was intended to support Design and Manufacturing classes in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
