Nine ME graduate students receive NSF fellowships

A record number of ME graduate students have been awarded 2019 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowships. This fellowship program supports outstanding graduate students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. ME recipients include:

The UW had the highest number of NSF Graduate Research Fellowship recipients this year out of all institutions, and ME had the second highest number of recipients at the UW, next to the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering.
