The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) named ME postdoctoral scholar Sepehr Makhsous winner of the 2021 Dr. James A Cottone Award for Excellence in Investigative Research. The award goes to research that exemplifies the best in infection control and safety research in oral health care.
